$16.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience Daily Pay Available New Horizon Foods is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Dietary Aide to join our team at The Marquardt in Watertown. This position plays an important role in providing quality meal service to our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, works well as part of a team, and is dependable and willing to help wherever needed. Responsibilities Assist with meal setup and tray assembly. Serve and deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Assist with dining room and meal-service setup. Portion food and beverages according to menus and resident needs. Stock food, beverages, supplies, and service areas. Follow resident dietary restrictions, meal tickets, and special requests. Assist with basic food preparation as needed. Maintain proper food-safety and sanitation procedures. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. Operate dishwashing equipment safely and properly. Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas. Assist cooks and other dietary staff as needed. Complete cleaning and closing responsibilities at the end of the shift. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Previous food-service experience is preferred. Senior living, healthcare, or CBRF experience is a plus. CBRF experience and/or training preferred. Willingness to complete required CBRF training after hire. Ability to follow meal tickets, menus, and dietary instructions. Knowledge of basic food-safety and sanitation practices. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Must be dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
