Griffin Armament is an industry-leading manufacturing technology company producing precision-engineered products in a clean, modern, climate-controlled facility. We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our growing 3rd shift production team. This position is ideal for experienced CNC operators who take pride in producing high-quality parts while maintaining efficient machine operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines Load and unload parts efficiently while maintaining quality standards Monitor machine operation and cycle times Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Make tool offset and wear adjustments as needed Change tools and monitor tool life Maintain coolant levels and perform routine machine care Maintain accurate production and quality standards Follow all company safety procedures While machines are cycling, operators are expected to: Inspect completed parts Prepare upcoming jobs with setup personnel Organize tooling and materials Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Required Minimum 1-3 years of CNC milling experience Production manufacturing experience Experience using precision measuring instruments Understanding of machine offsets and tool wear compensation Strong attention to detail Mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience operating 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC mills Experience with
