We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or qualified Nutritionist to provide nutrition services to our adult client population. This is an excellent opportunity for a nutrition professional interested in supporting individuals in behavioral health and recovery while maintaining a flexible schedule. Position Overview The Nutritionist will provide in-person nutrition services one day every two weeks at our West Palm Beach-area location.

Services will include:

Conducting individual nutrition assessments for clients as clinically indicated Providing nutrition education and evidence-based recommendations Facilitating an in-person nutrition/healthy living group Addressing the relationship between nutrition, mental health, substance use, recovery, and overall wellness Providing education regarding balanced nutrition, hydration, meal planning, and healthy eating habits Identifying nutrition-related concerns and making appropriate recommendations or referrals Collaborating with therapists, nursing staff, medical providers, and the Clinical Director as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team Documenting assessments, interventions, education, and recommendations in the electronic health record Participating in treatment planning when nutrition concerns are clinically relevant Maintaining appropriate professional and clinical documentation consistent with organizational and regulatory requirements Schedule One day every two weeks, in person The specific day and hours will be coordinated based on program needs and the provider's availability. Additional services or remote documentation/consultation may be considered based on client census and program needs.

Qualifications Required:

Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field Appropriate Florida credentials/licensure for the scope of services provided Experience providing nutrition education, counseling, or assessments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team Professional liability insurance, as applicable to the provider's employment/contract arrangement

Preferred:

Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential Experience working with behavioral health and/or substance use populations Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Experience with eating disorders, disordered eating, or nutritional concerns associated with recovery Trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach to care Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is compassionate, practical, and comfortable working with adults who may have complex relationships with food, health, body image, substance use, and recovery. We are looking for someone who can provide nonjudgmental, recovery-oriented nutrition education and integrate nutrition into a broader behavioral health treatment plan.
