Teaches dietetic students. Participates in multidisciplinary teams and develops nutritional components of care. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's status according to age. Use Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for adult and geriatric outpatients and inpatients Teaches Master of Clinical Nutrition Students. Experience making enteral and parenteral recommendations and selecting appropriate formulas Certifications Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required Licensure by the State of Iowa is required Clinical Dietitian I Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates registered prior to January 1 2024, a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
