Job Summary Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk. Assesses diet order based on patient's age, current Effectively utilizes the medical record to obtain pertinent objective data. Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status. Accurately calculates metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients. Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data. Completely follows through on recommendations made i.e., communication to physician, nutrition staff, nursing. Assesses patients based on religious, cultural, and ethnic preferences. Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patient's nutritional status and progress as determined by chart review.
