Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary services within a senior living environment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nutrition, dietetics, and physiology, combined with strong leadership and management skills. As the Dietary Manager, you will be responsible supervising dietary staff, managing menus and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care tailored to residents' needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' health and well-being through expert dietary management. Responsibilities Supervise and train dietary staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on quality service delivery. Manage the dietary department's budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization while maintaining high standards of care. Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate residents' health status and adjust nutrition plans accordingly. Ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed at all times. Lead health coaching initiatives to educate residents on nutrition and wellness practices that promote optimal health outcomes. Requirements Proven experience in dietary management within senior living or similar healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of nutrition science, physiology, dietetics, and care planning processes. Demonstrated supervisory experience with leadership skills that motivate and develop team members. Experience managing dietary budgets and resource allocation effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents, and families.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
