What You ll Do Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Design and implement individualized nutrition care plans grounded in clinical guidelines and best practice. Partner with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to weave nutrition into the full picture of patient care. Educate and counsel patients and families on dietary changes, medical nutrition therapy, and healthy eating habits. Track patient progress and adjust care plans to keep outcomes on track. Keep documentation accurate, timely, and audit-ready in the EHR. Stay current on nutrition research and best practices to keep care evidence-based. What You ll Bring (Requirements) Bachelor s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution. Completed accredited dietetic internship or supervised practice program. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Active state license or certification to practice as a dietitian in [State]. Solid working knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical nutrition principles. Nice to Have Master s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. Experience in acute care, long-term care, or outpatient clinical settings. Comfort working with EHR systems and nutrition analysis software.
