Title:
- Registered Dietitian for Oncology
- Vassar Dietary department
- Poughkeepsie, NY
- Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts 8:00am
- 4:30pm, Monday
- Friday, weekends and holidays required.
Summary:
- The Registered Dietitian demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate nutrition care to all ages of the life span including neonates/pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients served by the Food & Nutrition Department.
Responsibilities:

International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology Reference Manual:
Standardized Language for the Nutrition Care Process (IDNT). 2. Executes purposefully planned nutrition counseling with the intent of changing a nutrition- related behavior, risk factor, environmental condition or aspect of health status for an individual, target group or the community at large.
Other Information:
Education/Skill Required:
- Bachelor's level degree
Preferred:
Master's level degree- Registered Dietitians who are credentialed prior to January 1, 2024 willnotbe required to obtain a graduate degree per the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Individuals who are seeking to become eligible for the registration examination for the first time on or after January 1, 2024 will be required to hold a master's degree.
- Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) credential is required if covering outpatient services.
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office suite experience, presentation skills
Salary Range:
$29.65- $55.
