Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-time Dietitian to join our healthcare team on weekdays. In this dynamic role, you will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop personalized care plans, and support patients with diverse dietary needs. Your expertise will help improve health outcomes through comprehensive nutritional assessments, counseling, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual dietary needs. Develop and implement tailored nutrition care plans for patients managing chronic diseases, geriatrics, weight management, or specific medical conditions. Provide nutrition counseling and health coaching to motivate clients toward healthier lifestyles and dietary habits. Supervise and educate staff or interns in clinical nutrition practices, ensuring adherence to care standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize nutrition support strategies such as tube feeding or specialized diets. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately to document patient progress, care plans, and nutritional interventions. Stay current with advancements in clinical nutrition, physiology, and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to deliver evidence-based care. Skills Proven experience in clinical nutrition, dietetics, or a related healthcare setting with knowledge of physiology and medical nutrition therapy. Strong skills in health coaching, motivational interviewing, and client communication to foster positive behavioral changes. Supervising experience within dietary departments or clinical settings is highly desirable. Expertise in managing nutrition support procedures such as tube feeding and complex care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and patients with chronic illnesses. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Ability to perform patient assessments related to weight loss, acute care needs, or long-term care scenarios. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and nutritional analysis for personalized treatment planning. $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
