Job Summary:

We are partnering with this company to help find a Facilities Technician for a temporary maintenance opportunity supporting a busy distribution center environment. This role is focused on keeping building systems, equipment, and preventative maintenance activities running smoothly to support safe and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain client assets and complete preventive maintenance on facility-based equipment. Assist with the repair and upkeep of building systems and equipment, including minor plumbing tasks. Support inspections, tenant service requests, general maintenance tasks, and emergency response as needed. Document work completed, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and follow all safety procedures and disposal requirements.

Required:

Completion of an applicable technical training program is required. A minimum of one year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, including conveyor systems, is required. Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes is required. Ability to operate CMMS work order systems, complete written documentation, and work in all weather conditions and on call 24 hours per day is required. High school diploma or state equivalent is required. Ability to operate electric hand tools, work on ladders, carry tools and heavy loads, and work in close spaces such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, and rooftops is required.
