Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing personalized nutritional care and support to patients across various settings. Your expertise will help improve health outcomes through comprehensive assessments, tailored nutrition plans, and ongoing counseling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition, experience working with diverse populations, and a genuine desire to promote healthy living. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations, to identify individual dietary needs. Develop and implement customized care plans that incorporate medical nutrition therapy (MNT), weight management, and chronic disease management strategies. Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal nutritional support. Manage specialized nutrition interventions like tube feeding and other forms of nutrition support, ensuring safety and efficacy. Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) for seamless communication and continuity of care. Supervise dietetic staff or interns when applicable, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care. Skills Proven experience in clinical nutrition, including medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and dietary management for various conditions such as geriatrics, chronic diseases, or acute care settings. Strong knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and overall health. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex nutritional concepts clearly. Experience working with individuals with specific dietary needs or medical conditions requiring specialized diets. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Demonstrated ability in health coaching techniques to motivate patients toward healthier lifestyles. Supervising experience or leadership skills in a dietary department or healthcare setting preferred.
