May work in a community setting or non-profit, governmental, or public health organization, offering nutritional advice to specific groups of people.

Job Description
LDN RDN Responsibilities:
- Nutritional Lifestyle Counseling individual sessions
- Review dietary and supplement recommendations. Give suggestions on meal planning, behavioral approaches to healthy eating and shopping guides. Send materials for support.
- Review nutritionally relevant laboratory results and make lifestyle, dietary and supplemental recommendations based on the results.
- Create goals and plans that encourage regular follow-up with the LDN RDN.
- Option to create and schedule group sessions for weight loss, detoxification and auto-immune
- Option to create and administer cash-based prevention and wellness promotion programs
- Learn and reinforce lifestyle counseling for stress management, exercise and sleep with agreed upon materials.
- Promotion of products and services offered at the office, emphasizing loyalty and quality
- Promotion of the practice and nutritional counselling services at the practice through lectures, articles, blogs, social media and outreach
- Promote cash-based services, i.e. maintenance programs, phone support etc.
- Properly code and document visits for insurance purposes and continually educate billing person on the best ways to code.
Credentials:
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in PA. An RD as well as advanced training in Integrative Functional Nutrition is preferred. An RD that is credentialed with the major insurance companies is preferred Skills and experience required :- Experience working with patients to promote improved health and well- being. Experience in providing individualized diets, meal plans, recipes and appropriate nutritional supplements.
- Openness to and knowledge of Functional Medicine and Integrative Medicine
- Openness to and knowledge of Nutritional Supplements
- Understanding of basic laboratory testing results and willingness to learn more about Functional Medicine based testing The person best suited for this position:
