Job Description

Associate Veterinarian | Doylestown, PA | Integrative Approach We are working on behalf of a privately owned, integrative small animal practice in Doylestown, PA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its close knit team. This is a non-corporate, cats and dogs general practice with a clearly defined and thoughtful medical philosophy, where conventional and holistic approaches sit side by side and doctors are encouraged to consult one another across modalities. Thirty minute appointments give you the time to do proper workups and practice medicine the way you want to, and the team refers liberally to local specialty and emergency hospitals, so there is no pressure to do everything in house. You will be well supported, with a certified technician on at all times and dedicated assistant support on every shift. The owner is committed to keeping equipment current, with recently installed digital radiography and a dental X-ray upgrade underway, plus longer term plans to expand the facility. Surgery is a valued part of the role, with two to three surgery days a week covering dentals, spays, neuters, and mass removals, along with routine cystotomies, the occasional splenectomy, and some foreign body procedures. The practice is open to full time or part time, will happily consider a three or four day week for the right person, and is flexible on weekends for a strong long term hire.
