Monarch Health & Wellness | Crown Point, Indiana Per-Visit Compensation | Virtual & In-Office Monarch Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced Functional Nutrition Dietitian to join our growing practice as a 1099 independent contractor . This position will primarily support our medical weight-loss population as well as patients seeking nutrition support for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions . We are looking for a dietitian who takes a personalized, whole-person approach to nutrition and is well-versed in functional nutrition and root-cause health .

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and consultations Develop individualized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations Provide ongoing nutrition counseling and follow-up Support patients participating in medical weight-loss programs Help patients develop sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits Work with patients with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions Provide education regarding nutrition, gut health, metabolic health, and lifestyle Review relevant labs, medical history, medications, and supplements within your scope of practice Collaborate with our clinical team to provide coordinated patient care Maintain appropriate clinical documentation

Qualifications:

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with current credentials and licensure as required Strong knowledge and experience in functional nutrition Experience with weight management, metabolic health, and/or medical weight loss Knowledge of nutrition considerations related to autoimmune and inflammatory conditions Strong understanding of gut health and the gut-immune connection Comfortable reviewing laboratory information within your professional scope Excellent communication and patient-education skills Compassionate, nonjudgmental, and patient-centered approach Comfortable working independently and as part of a clinical team Comfortable providing both virtual and in-office visits
