NutriTech is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our growing team. We have a clinical opening in Medina, Ohio 8 hours a week (we also have positions open in Berea 24 hours a week and East Cleveland 16 hours a week if need full-time). LTC experience is preferred but willing to train. Pay is very competitive! Nutritech care about their consultants. If you have not been a consultant, we will provide the guidance you need. Responsibilities Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents Complete new admission comprehensive nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team. Quarterly reviews. Implement dietary care plans Survey assistance Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications. Skills and Qualifications Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families Must be Registered with CDR Long Term Care Experience preferred with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS, Completing resident/ patient assessments and Care Plans Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines Dietitian
