Schedule flexibility:

Choose a schedule that fits your life, ranging from 25-38 hours per week. Whether you prefer a smaller caseload or more clinical hours, we have patients ready to be seen. What You'll Do Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy -typically one hour appointments, 30 minutes appointments optional Develop ongoing relationships with patients and follow them over time Help patients make realistic, sustainable behavioral changes to support their health care goals Use clinical judgment, curiosity questions, motivational interviewing and effective communication to guide care. Complete timely documentation and communicate meaningful brief updates to referring providers Manage your patient schedule within the structure and support of the practice

Qualifications:

Registered/Licensed dietitian to practice in Oklahoma Minimum of one year (preferably two or more years) of clinical experience post internship Master's degree and/or CDES credential welcomed but not required Spanish fluency is an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient centered evidence-based nutrition care Dependability and timely completion of clinical documentation Your first few months at

Banister Nutrition:

20 hours of shadowing RDN's on our team prior to seeing first patients Access to review clinical resources, therapy coaching tips, RDN onboarding manual and ongoing mentorship rather than being expected to figure out private practice on your own.

Schedule and Practice Structure:

This is a 1099 independent-contractor position with flexibility in establishing your schedule. Dietitians maintain a minimum of 25 hours of weekly availability to schedule patients. You may choose to to build a full schedule of 35-40 hours/wk based on your professional goals. A minimum of three days per week in office the first 6 months to become acquainted with the team and office procedures. Evenings until 7 pm and Saturday scheduling is available. Banister Nutrition provides the continual referral stream, scheduling and administrative infrastructure that allows our dietitians to concentrate primarily on patient care.

Compensation:

Hourly payment varies with insurance companies - the range is $55-$70/hr
