Job Summary Therapeutic Wellness Center, LLC is looking for an experienced and self-sufficient Registered Dietician to join a group of 11 mental health clinicians to support our in-house clients, in addition to outside referrals. The dietician has the opportunity to join a team-based private practice that prioritizes both client care and supporting one another. Benefits of joining our practice Flexible schedule according to personal and client need Hybrid position: Some in-person hours required in Westfield, MA Private, furnished office space provided EHR provided Option to be a W-2 employee or 1099 Contractor Coverage under group malpractice policy, individual policy required by dietician Competitive pay for both W-2 and 1099 positions Team-based approach to client care with multiple other licensed providers in the building Insurance-based services: Increased likelihood of referrals and opportunity for additional work, if desired Pay incentive for increased hours worked Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including nutritional analysis and diagnostic evaluations, to determine individual needs and develop tailored care plans Conduct a minimum of 8 nutritional counseling sessions per week, with potential opportunity to work additional hours Implement medical nutrition therapy (MNT), including specialized interventions for complex cases Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals—such as primary care physicians, mental health providers, nurses, and related disciplines—to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes Document all client interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and facilitating seamless communication Experience A minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient nutrition counseling required A strong preference for past experience/knowledge of working with eating disorders and weight-sensitive clients Must practice from a weight-inclusive framework while honoring each client's goals Demonstrated proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management Experience in chronic disease management, eating disorders, GLP-1 support, and acute care environments is highly desirable Incorporates and honors mental health wellness into practice Supervisory experience or prior leadership roles within dietary departments are advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and overall human health to inform comprehensive nutritional strategies Licensure & Insurance Requirements Must maintain and provide a copy of an active, unrestricted license to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) independently in the state of MA Maintain and provide a copy of an active individual malpractice insurance policy, yearly All strong candidates will engage in a 1:1 phone and in-person interview with the owner of Therapeutic Wellness Center, and a group interview with current staff at the practice.
