We are seeking an experienced, motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality resident care. Position Summary The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing services within the facility. The DON works closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to promote outstanding resident outcomes while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations. Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff. Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations. Oversee infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement programs. Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and labor management. Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, residents, and families to ensure exceptional care. Prepare for and lead state survey activities. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care. Review clinical documentation and ensure accurate completion of assessments and care plans. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of AR. Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and long-term care reimbursement. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to build and lead high-performing clinical teams.
