At Handmaker, our Director of Nursing will fulfill a crucial role in providing support for our residents and skilled nursing and long term care staff. Handmaker's appreciated employees are an essential part of the team.Director of Nursing Responsibilities:
Our Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily operations for our 94 bed facility including: skilled nursing, long term care and a memory care unit.Duties include:
establishing and management of SNF/LTC policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance. Our Director of Nursing establishes and maintains a loving and caring environment for our residents while ensuring the best care and assistance for each of our residents based on their individual needs is provided.Director of Nursing Duties:
- Provide leadership and manage all nursing staff
- Oversee the Infection Control and Wound Care programs
- Develop goals for the nursing department for continued improvements
- Establish and update policies to maintain a high standard of care Director of Nursing Qualifications Current RN License required (Arizona/Compact) Minimum 3 years experience in skilled nursing, with previous management experience.
