Job Description
Director of Nursing (DON/DPCS) - Hospice Destiny Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our Hospice team. Are you passionate about developing clinical teams and making a meaningful difference for patients and families receiving care in their homes? If so, we invite you to apply. We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON/DPCS) with strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a commitment to high-quality, compliant hospice care. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on leader who can support and develop clinical staff while promoting regulatory compliance, patient safety, and excellent clinical outcomes. Qualifications Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Minimum of two years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience in hospice or palliative care within the past five years Strong knowledge of hospice clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and standards of care Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Previous experience as a Hospice RN Case Manager preferred Schedule Full-Time, Exempt Office hours: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Salary $115,000-$130,000 annually , depending on clinical experience and leadership qualifications.
