Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with regulations and standards.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee documentation review and quality assurance processes
- Coordinate patient care activities across different departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in acute care, home health, hospice care, or home care settings
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
