UHP's best-in-class clinical program covers three sub-specialties (urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology) and offers numerous ancillary services, including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 154 providers consisting of 110 physicians and 44 advanced practice providers operating out of 50 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. Position Summary The NP/PA provides care through the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. Works under the direction of the collaborating Physician and other supervising Physicians. What you will be doing Evaluate patients, review medical history, and perform an appropriate physical exam in a medical office setting Interpret and evaluate patient data as authorized by the physician to determine the management and treatment of patients. Consult with a physician as appropriate. Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate pharmacologic medicine Work closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team in a collaborative effort to provide optimal patient care What you will bring to the team Current NP or PA-C license, Master's Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant program required. Current BLS and CPR certification required. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a clinical setting. Knowledge of EMR systems.
