Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist (General Dentist limited to Pedo or Pedodontist) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental staff to provide exceptional patient care and support within the clinic environment. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance service delivery. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice in the state of employment. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques. Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is a plus. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment. Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic environment is highly desirable.
