Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with passion and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic planning skills, organizational leadership, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative, high-performing nursing environment. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will drive initiatives that enhance clinical quality, staff development, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals to improve patient outcomes and operational excellence. Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth. Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and personnel management to ensure optimal coverage and staff satisfaction. Manage the nursing department's budget, including resource allocation, cost control, and financial planning in accordance with organizational policies. Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards to uphold the highest quality of care. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, enhance patient experience, and support organizational initiatives. Provide instructional leadership in education by facilitating ongoing training programs for nursing staff and promoting best practices in clinical care. Lead efforts in quality assurance, risk management, and safety protocols to maintain a secure and effective healthcare environment. Participate actively in executive leadership meetings to shape strategic decisions impacting the organization's growth and service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in management within healthcare settings or educational institutions related to health sciences; school administrative director experience is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management. Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or nursing education. Extensive experience in personnel management in education or healthcare environments with a focus on team leadership and staff supervision. Background in academic or instructional leadership within health sciences or university settings is highly desirable. Exceptional skills in leadership, team management, and organizational development to motivate diverse teams effectively. Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while maintaining compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred; valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Pay:
$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
