The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations while serving as the facility's Staff Development Coordinator and Infection Preventionist. Responsibilities include coordinating and leading new employee orientation, annual education, competency validation, in-service training, and ongoing staff development programs. The ADON will also manage the facility's infection prevention and control program, conduct surveillance and audits, provide staff education, monitor regulatory compliance, and assist nursing leadership with quality improvement, clinical oversight, staff development, and survey readiness.

Basic Qualifications Education and Certification:
