Job Description
Lead Our Clinical Team — Bring the Experience We're Looking For Director of Nursing (RN) Clearwater, FL Full-Time $75,000 - $85,000 / year For more than three decades, Home Health Works has cared for families across Tampa Bay like our own. We're a respected, established private-duty agency — skilled nursing, personal care, and one of the few live-in caregiver programs in the area — and we're looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team and uphold the standard of care our name has stood for since 1992. We Want a Nurse Leader Who's Done This Before This is a leadership role for a seasoned RN. We're looking for someone who has already run a clinical team in home health or home care — who knows Florida's AHCA regulations cold, can build and mentor staff, and can own quality and compliance without hand-holding. If you've been a Director of Nursing or clinical supervisor and are ready to lead, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do ▸ Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all patient care across skilled nursing, personal care, and live-in services. ▸ Supervise, mentor, and develop the nursing team — RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and home health aides. ▸ Oversee patient assessments, care plans, and ongoing care coordination with patients, families, and physicians. ▸ Ensure full compliance with AHCA and all applicable state and federal home care regulations. ▸ Lead quality assurance, chart audits, and performance improvement across the agency. ▸ Direct staff onboarding, training, and competency to keep care consistently excellent. What You Bring ▸ Active Florida RN license in good standing. ▸ 5+ years of nursing experience, including home health or home care leadership (DON or clinical supervisor). ▸ Deep, current knowledge of Florida home care regulations and AHCA survey readiness. ▸ A proven ability to lead, mentor, and retain a clinical team. ▸ Strong assessment, care-planning, and documentation skills. ▸ Excellent communication, organization, and judgment. What We Offer ▸ Competitive salary: $75-85K per year , commensurate with experience. ▸ Medical, Dental and Vision benefits. ▸ PTO and Holiday ▸ A respected 30+ year brand with a loyal client base and a tenured, caring team. ▸ The autonomy to lead and shape the clinical function of the agency. ▸ A supportive, family-first culture where your leadership is genuinely valued.
