Full Job Description Skilled Nursing Unit Manager Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident Lead and manage a team of skilled nursing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to promote excellent care and teamwork Collaborate with other departments, including rehabilitation therapy, dietary, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for residents Conduct periodic assessments and evaluations of resident care, making recommendations for improvement as needed Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and resident-centered care

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing setting, with a focus on managerial or leadership roles Proven track record of effective leadership and team management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
