Who We're Looking For FHE Health is seeking an experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our executive leadership team and provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services. The ideal candidate is an accomplished nursing executive with a strong understanding of behavioral health, healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, patient safety, quality improvement, and nursing best practices. This leader will be equally comfortable developing strategy at the executive level and engaging with nursing leadership and frontline staff to drive clinical and operational excellence. This is an opportunity for a hands-on nursing executive to shape the future of nursing, strengthen clinical excellence, develop exceptional nursing leaders, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction for all nursing services. Provide oversight of nursing operations, staffing, performance, and patient care. Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and applicable accreditation standards. Lead initiatives focused on quality, patient safety, infection control, and patient satisfaction. Develop, mentor, and support nursing leadership and staff. Establish and oversee effective nursing education, training, competency, and onboarding programs. Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other departments to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Participate in executive leadership, interdisciplinary meetings, and organizational decision-making. Maintain 24-hour accountability for nursing services and remain available to address urgent clinical or operational matters as needed. To be considered, candidates must have: Active, unrestricted Florida RN license required; BSN required. Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Significant nursing leadership and management experience. Executive-level healthcare leadership experience with behavioral health or psychiatric experience required. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, quality, patient safety, and evidence-based nursing practices. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, develop nursing leaders, and drive clinical and operational excellence. Candidates whose experience is limited to retail, financial services, telecommunications, hospitality, insurance, or non-healthcare call centers will not meet the qualifications for this position.
