Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our home healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist in various medical procedures, and support the nursing staff in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities, including diabeties managment, wound care, vitals, trake, breathing and feeding tubes etc. Administer medications and treatments, as prescribed by the the physician. Perform procedures such as catheterization, and basic urgent care tasks. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management, family planning, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Participate in regional home visit nursing assignments as needed to provide care in various in home settings. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Preforminhg nursing admistrator duties. Qualifications Current RN License in good standing. Proven experience in acute care settings preferred. 2+ years in a hospital, nursing home or home care experience. Experience in home health care is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices. Ability to perform essential nursing skills including patient assesment and implamentation for care plans. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and orcistrate with team members. Regional home health visits for nursing assignments as required by the organization. Exceptional assesment, communication, documentation, and implamentation skills.
