Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivared Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. The DON oversees all nursing operations, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes quality resident care, and provides leadership and support to the nursing staff. Responsibilities Direct and manage all nursing services within the facility. Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards. Recruit, train, monitor, and evaluate nursing personnel Monitor quality improvement initiatives and resident outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and administrators Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care. Qualifications Current RN License in good standing Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills BSN preferred; management certification is a plus Salary to be discussed
