Job Description
Overview PFI is a food equipment manufacturing company seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machine operation, with a focus on precision, quality, and efficiency. This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications are essential. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs while ensuring machined components meet PFI's high standards for quality and accuracy. Duties Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machining processes using Fanuc controls. Operate CNC lathes, mills, UMCs, and other machinery to manufacture high-quality components according to specifications. Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensional accuracy throughout production. Perform quality control checks during the manufacturing process to ensure components meet established standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper fit, function, and integration of machined parts before they are received by the customer. Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming and machine operation issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all applicable safety procedures. Qualifications Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments with a solid understanding of basic math and accurate measurements. Experience with CNC programming, particularly Fanuc control systems, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of quality control practices within a manufacturing environment. Ability to effectively use hand tools and operate other machinery as needed. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
