We are looking for a caring and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (DON) to support our nursing team with heart, purpose, and professionalism.
What You'll Do:
Guide and support a team of nurses and caregivers, ensuring our residents feel safe, respected, and valued every day. Partner with residents, families, and staff to create personalized care plans that honor individual needs and preferences. Foster a warm, team-oriented environment where staff feel encouraged, appreciated, and inspired to do their best work. Oversee daily nursing operations with an eye toward compassion, quality, and compliance. Lead by example in building strong relationships across our community.
What We're Looking For:
Current RN license in Illinois. Previous nursing leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or skilled nursing. A blend of clinical expertise and genuine compassion for older adults. Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative, approachable style. A commitment to supporting staff and nurturing a culture of kindness and excellence.
