About Us:
BrightStar Care is a home health company that promotes well-being in the home. We provide clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs who assist with various home care needs such as toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Our services range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who actively participate in the same work we ask our employees to do.
Role Overview:
As the Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality home health care services. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure that each patient receives personalized and effective care based on their individual needs. You will actively engage in developing care strategies and fostering a culture of compassion and excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to personalized Plans of Care for each client. Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality and satisfaction. Oversee staff training and development to maintain high standards of care. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families to optimize patient treatment plans.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a current state license. Proven experience in a nursing management role, ideally in home health care. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to assess patients' needs and develop care plans accordingly. Commitment to the mission and values of BrightStar Care.
Bonus If You:
Have additional certifications in nursing management or home health care. Fluency in additional languages to support diverse clientele.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Tinley Park, Illinois.
