About the Role The role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Registered Nurse (RN) is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care and effective healthcare management within the facility. This position focuses on overseeing nursing education programs, managing resident care standards, and leading nursing staff to achieve optimal health outcomes. The ADON will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. A key objective is to foster a supportive environment that promotes continuous professional development and resident-centered care. Ultimately, the ADON will contribute to enhancing the overall operational efficiency and reputation of Cardon and Associates as a leading healthcare provider. Job Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee nursing education initiatives to ensure staff are well-trained and up to date with current clinical practices. Manage daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain high standards of resident care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and adherence to clinical protocols. Collaborate with healthcare management and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans and quality improvement strategies. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies to maintain a safe and effective care environment. Minimum Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Indiana. Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing management or a similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in long-term care or community healthcare settings. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management software. Advanced training in resident safety and quality improvement methodologies.
