Manages the operations of a skilled nursing facility, assuring quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develops key personnel, manages costs and revenues, approves budgets and policies and establishes facility goals and objectives. Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN required Valid Michigan RN license required. Valid CPR certification. Three years' experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or equivalent supervisory nursing experience. The Director renders professional nursing care, assessment, and evaluation to the residents within the facility, in support of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines directed by medical staff and pursuant to the facility's objectives and policies. The Director is responsible for managing staff members, ensuring the highest quality of resident care is maintained. Serves as a member of the healthcare, in accordance with facility policies. The Director understands and implements the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) regulations, and principles of The Eden Alternative.
