Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Assistant Director of Nursing, where you will play a pivotal role in leading nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives to enhance nursing services and patient care quality. Oversee staffing schedules, staff supervision, and personnel management to ensure optimal team performance. Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to support operational goals. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards across all nursing practices. Provide instructional leadership by mentoring nursing staff, fostering professional development, and promoting best practices in clinical care. Collaborate with school or healthcare administration teams to align nursing services with organizational objectives and educational requirements. Lead efforts in quality assurance, risk management, and safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant environment for patients and staff. Facilitate effective communication among multidisciplinary teams to support organizational goals and improve workflow efficiency. Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of nursing personnel to build a high-performing team. Experience Proven management experience within healthcare or educational settings, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Extensive background in personnel management in education or healthcare environments, including staff supervision and team leadership. Experience with strategic planning, organizational budget management, and implementing operational improvements. Knowledge of state-specific education laws relevant to healthcare or school-based health programs is highly desirable. Demonstrated success in instructional leadership or academic leadership roles within educational institutions or healthcare organizations. Prior experience working with university or school administrative teams is advantageous for understanding complex organizational structures. A background in teaching or education administration that supports effective team management and program development is preferred.
