Job Description

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN Lakeview Rehab and Nursing | Bigfork, MT Lakeview Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing. This is an opportunity to help shape nursing practices, support staff development, and build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Working alongside the Director of Nursing, you will help lead daily nursing operations, maintain high standards of resident care, and support a team built on accountability, communication, and mutual respect. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations and clinical oversight. Support nursing staff through coaching, education, and performance feedback. Help coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet resident needs. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care. Conduct rounds, monitor care practices, and address resident and family concerns. Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and survey readiness. Assist with incident investigations and follow-up interventions. Provide direct nursing care when needed and nursing leadership in the Director of Nursing's absence. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Montana. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university. At least three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare setting. Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and applicable regulations. Current CPR certification. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
