Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Join a Leading Long-Term Care Team in Cary, NC P3SG is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care. As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services, supervise clinical staff, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

$110,000 - $115,000 per year Friday Schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) Comprehensive Benefits Package Paid Time Off & Holidays Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Professional Development Opportunities Supportive Leadership Team Stable, Growing Organization Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all nursing operations and resident care services Lead, coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Manage staffing schedules and monitor overtime Conduct performance evaluations and staff development initiatives Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, dietary services, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor clinical outcomes and implement process improvements Address resident and family concerns to ensure positive experiences Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning efforts Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and licensing records Participate in on-call rotation as needed Qualifications Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in North Carolina Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, or Post-Acute Care Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations Proven leadership, team building, and staff development skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Preferred Experience leading Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs Multi-disciplinary team leadership experience Strong survey readiness and compliance background Ideal Candidate You are a hands-on nursing leader who excels at building strong clinical teams, improving resident outcomes, and creating a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence.
