As the Director of Nursing, you are responsible for the direction, provision and quality of nursing services provided to patients. Responsibilities but not limited to the following:
  • Developing and maintaining written objectives, policies, a procedure manual, an organizational plan, and a quality assurance program for the nursing service
  • Participating in planning and budgeting for the nursing service, supervises purchasing supplies
  • Oversees Inventory Control, QM/PI, Infection Control, and Financial Analysis of the center
  • Coordinating and integrating the nursing service with other patient care services to provide a continuum of care for the patient
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records
  • Ensuring that nursing staffing patterns are implemented
  • Coordinating and participating in staff orientation and staff education activities
  • Participating in business plan, marketing efforts and customer service of the center
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey.
  • Have at least 3 years + of experience in nursing supervision or nursing administration in a licensed healthcare facility
Skills:
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Proficient in nurse management principles and practices
  • In-depth understanding of medical records management and documentation requirements
  • Familiarity with care planning processes and implementation
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
