Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our skilled nursing facility as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) . The ideal candidate will oversee nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. Must be a Registered Nurse in New York State.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate nursing staff to provide optimal care
  • Uphold resident rights and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Oversee Medicare compliance and documentation
  • Utilize in-depth physiology knowledge to guide nursing practices
  • Lead nursing administration functions effectively
  • Supervise nurse management activities across various units
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate staff
Skills:
  • Proven experience in long-term care settings
  • Understanding of Medicare regulations
  • Background in nurse management or supervision
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of nurses effectively
  • Clinical Informatics experience with PCC, learning and training employees
