Assistant Director, Nursing
  • Level I Annual Salary $119,770
  • 130,000
  • Level II Annual Salary $130,000
  • 150,000
Qualification Requirements:
1. Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; and 2. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing Administration or a related nursing discipline; and three (3) years of satisfactory nursing experience, one (1) year of which must have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity, which may include managing a specific department or nursing unit within a hospital or health care setting, overseeing patient care, staff management and the day-to-day operations of the department, as well as demonstrating clinical competency in relevant clinical area; or 3. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing; and four (4) years of satisfactory nursing experience (i.e., clinical care), two (2) years of which must have been in a clinical supervisory capacity (i.e., Head Nurse, Supervisor experience), as well as demonstrating clinical competency in relevant clinical area. 4. May require Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) depending on assignment/health care setting. If required, BLS must be obtained within sixty (60) calendar days of appointment to the title and maintained for the duration of the assignment.
