Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions
- Manage the allocation of resources, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with medical record standards and HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in nursing practice
- On call
- Pickup and help on floor when needed.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of assisted living, Medicare, and acute care settings
- Proven experience in nursing administration and supervising a team of healthcare professionals
- Proficient in managing systems and processes to optimize patient care delivery
- Familiarity with medical records management and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team building, coaching, and staff development
- Experience in shift management to ensure adequate staffing coverage
