This is not a building-based DON position — our Travel Director of Nursing (DON) moves between facilities, mentoring and training the facility DONs and nursing staff to keep clinical operations strong across the group. What You'll Do Travel regularly to our facilities in the Dayton and Columbus areas, providing on-site clinical leadership and support — including on short notice when a building needs you. Train, mentor, and develop facility Directors of Nursing (DONs) in clinical systems, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day nursing operations. Train and coach facility nursing staff — RNs (Registered Nurses), LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses), and CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) — on standards of care and best practices. Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required. Experience overseeing multiple facilities (regional, corporate, or multi-site nursing leadership). Willingness to travel between facilities in the Dayton and Columbus areas as needed.
