Director of Nursing Location:

Mansfield, Ohio An assisted living community in the Mansfield area is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead its clinical operations and help establish a strong foundation for resident care. This is an opportunity for a hands-on nursing leader to lead a clinical team, establish effective care practices, and influence the culture of the community. The Director of Nursing will oversee resident wellness, clinical services, team performance, and regulatory compliance while working closely with community leadership, residents, and families. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support the community's nursing and care team Oversee resident assessments, service plans, and changes in condition Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and clinical standards Support the hiring, onboarding, training, and performance of clinical team members Monitor medication management and other clinical processes Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community leaders Participate in the on-call rotation and provide support outside regular business hours when needed Qualifications Active Ohio nursing license; RN preferred At least three years of experience leading a clinical or resident-care team Assisted living, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current CPR, First Aid, and TB documentation Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary Performance-based bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Early access to earned wages Professional development and advancement opportunities If you are an experienced nursing leader who enjoys developing teams, creating strong systems, and improving the lives of older adults, we invite you to apply.
