Clinical Leadership & Oversight Provide overall direction and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations. Conduct regular audits to monitor care quality, documentation accuracy, and adherence to standards of practice. Oversee infection control procedures and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. Staff Management & Development Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a well-qualified workforce. Provide ongoing professional development, coaching, and performance management. Create and oversee staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across shifts. Foster a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork, respect, and accountability. Patient Care & Clinical Support Assist with complex patient care situations as needed, offering clinical expertise and support. Monitor patient outcomes and implement interventions or process improvements when necessary. Address patient or family concerns in a professional and timely manner. Oversee coordination of care between nursing, medical providers, therapists, and administrative teams. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA standards. Oversee medication management, inventory, and proper storage procedures. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for nursing services. Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, performance, and patient satisfaction. Prepare and present reports to leadership regarding nursing operations, staffing, and clinical trends. Collaboration & Communication Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational goals and program development. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and community partners. Ensure effective communication across departments to support coordinated, integrated care. General Duties Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements. Uphold principles of trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care in all clinical interactions. Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical operations, organizational needs, and patient care.
