We are a growing company, therefore opportunities for professional growth for proven leaders! Conveniently located in beautiful Strongsville! We're seeking a seasoned, compassionate, clinically strong, and customer service focused Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of resident care. If you're a licensed RN with leadership experience and a passion for long-term care, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Duties:
Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards Assess resident needs and oversee individualized care plans Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Conduct rounds, evaluate care, and initiate corrective actions Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration Oversee budget planning and resource allocation Lead educational programs and staff development initiatives
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN license (BSN preferred) Experience in long-term care preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment The Avenue at Strongsville is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings.
