Job Summary At Huntingdon Park we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Nursing (RN/DON) to lead our nursing team under new management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home environments, demonstrating exceptional leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to resident-centered care. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence in patient care and staff development. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of our facility through innovative management and compassionate leadership. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for nursing services, ensuring high standards of resident care and staff performance. Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and competent team. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA, Medicare guidelines, and long-term care standards. Manage documentation review, medical records accuracy, and EMR/EHR systems to maintain precise clinical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care across various settings such as assisted living, home health, hospice care, memory care, and acute care environments. Qualifications Valid RN license with current state licensure; Nurse management or nursing administration experience required. Proven leadership experience within long-term care facilities or similar healthcare settings with supervising responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, Medicare requirements, HIPAA compliance, and documentation standards.
