Director of Nursing Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director of Nursing (DON) at Garden Spring Rehab and Care Center in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. As a leader in our organization, you will play a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to our residents. Job Description As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and overall operation of the Nursing Department, ensuring that our residents receive quality care 24 hours a day.
You will be expected to:
Ensure nursing staff provides quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards Ensure compliance with state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards Lead and/or participate in Quality Improvement (QI) groups and other multidisciplinary meetings May assist with recruiting, hiring, providing orientation/training, and retaining a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out the responsibilities of nursing services Required Skills & Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Active RN License in the State of Pennsylvania Minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience in long-term care setting Minimum of 2 years experience working as a DON Possess a working knowledge and ability to apply standards of professional nursing practice in job situations Ability to develop nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and facility philosophy of care Benefits Health & Dental Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Life Insurance 401K Retirement Plan Tuition Reimbursement - pursue your education!
