Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing home operations, hospice care, and home health services. This leadership role requires a commitment to patients rights, effective shift management, and the development of comprehensive care plans that enhance the well-being of our patients. Duties Oversee the daily operations of nursing services and help grow the agency, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients based on their specific needs and treatment. Manage nursing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and maintain high standards of care. Advocate for resident rights and ensure that all staff are trained in ethical practices regarding patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with Medicare regulations and facility policies. Provide ongoing training and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills in patient care practices. Skills Proficient in developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Strong shift management abilities to ensure smooth operations within the nursing department. In-depth understanding of patients rights and advocacy within a healthcare setting. Experience working in homes health services is highly desirable. Knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements related to nursing practices. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards. • Lead our team as the Director of Nursing and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our patients.
