Assistant Director of Nursing Location:
Colleyville, TX About SageOak SageOak is a boutique-style senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care in an intimate home environment.

Position Summary:
This position will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of Sage Oak Assisted Living and Memory Care The primary goal will be to oversee a team of about 30 staff, triage resident needs and ensure smooth operations.

Executive Director Responsibilities:
1. Assists Executive Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Sage Oak Assisted Living and Memory Care. 2. Completes duties as assigned by Executive Director 3. Demonstrates a positive, cheerful attitude and treats all residents, families, co-workers, and other customers with dignity and respect. 4. Upholds and promotes Sage Oak's pillars of Great Care, Great Food, and Great Communication each day. 5. Partners with the Sage Oak clinical team to ensure clinical capabilities are sufficient to meet the needs of each new resident inquiry. 6. Works with the Executive Director and Clinical team to ensure a smooth admission process for newly admitted residents. 7. Help recruit, train, and retain staff and assist with team building. Requirements Applicants must meet all of the following criteria: Valid Texas nursing license Previous experience as a manager in a senior living setting (Assisted Living, Memory Care, or similar required).- 2 years minimum Strong understanding of engagement programming for older adults. Ability and willingness to work the floor and assist with resident care as needed (including ADLs, transfers, meal assistance, and general support). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience building individualized engagement plans and adapting activities to varying abilities. Comfortable taking photos and generating weekly storytelling updates for families. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with caregivers and nurses. Must pass background checks and meet all state regulatory requirements. Why Work at SageOak?
